Last year I spent a weekend in the Catalan Pyrenees, and I used to go visit Andorra, one of the smallest countries in Europe.
entry to the country was filled with cars, so we were more than an hour traveling at walking pace. Andorra is a country where the goods are not taxed, and is reputed to be very cheap. Although the difference was more significant say in the days of the peseta, even now, with the euro, there are some things cheaper (snuff, alcohol, perfumes, glasses, small electronics). There are also many shops of luxury items (jewelry, Ferraris, etc.).

The river was strong, we were in time of thaw, I guess.

seems that summer is full of Portuguese Andorra earning more money here than at home. In winter, Andorra live much more, have one of the centers and hot springs spa in Catalonia, and skiing. Is the time when, say, come many Argentine ski instructors, which follow the winter and make the season in the area.

At the end I did not take any pictures of the shopping street. You have to imagine it as a series of businesses of different scales, from a small place of Japanese goods to large shopping centers. As I do not think consumer, did not interest me much, but who likes you recommend buying put a limit before visiting the city.
After spending a few euros in snuff, MP3 and some perfume, returned to Llívia. On the way out we checked the boot (trunk ), but all they wanted was to count how many cartons of cigarettes carried, or do a bit of theater that Europe does not put them in the blacklist of countries dedicated to smuggling and a tax haven.
